A: The ceremony location was chosen because it is Esther's family church. The reception location was chosen because it is heckin' awesome!
A: We won't have a shuttle bus between Indianapolis and Greenfield, so guests without personal transportation will need to carpool. Let us know in advance, and we can introduce you to someone with extra space. Who knows? You may make a new best friend!Â
A: The dress code for the evening is Black Tie Optional.
Men: Tuxedos or dark, formal suits with bow ties or straight ties
Women: Floor-length gowns or as formal as you are able; colors and florals are encouraged
Kids: Wear your Sunday best
A: The wedding ceremony will be a complete Divine Service featuring the Rite of Holy Matrimony according to the Lutheran Service Book (2006). It will probably be around an hour and a half.
Restless children are welcome; we're used to it!
A: The practice of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod is to offer communion to all who have received formal instruction in the beliefs of the church and are members of their local LCMS congregation. For clarification, contact Pastors O'Connor and DeBlieck.
